SEVNMAIN – RETURNS & EXCHANGE POLICY

We understand that sometimes a product may not be quite right — and that’s okay.
At SEVNMAIN, our goal is to make sure you’re happy with every purchase.
If your order doesn’t meet expectations, you can return or exchange it within 30 days of delivery, provided it meets the conditions below.
1. Which Items Can I Return or Exchange?
We gladly accept returns or exchanges for most items purchased via www.sevnmain.co.za

The item is unworn, unwashed, and unused, with all original tags and packaging intact.

The item is free from makeup, deodorant marks, or scents.

A valid proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt) is provided.
Exceptions:

Underwear, socks, and other hygiene-sensitive items may not be returned or exchanged unless defective.

Gift cards are non-returnable and non-refundable.
-
Customised or personalised items cannot be returned or exchanged.

Sale items can be exchanged only for another size or store credit (no cash refunds).
We reserve the right to inspect all returned items before approving a refund or exchange. Items failing inspection will be returned to the customer.
2. How to Start a Return or Exchange
To initiate a return or exchange, please follow these simple steps:

Our team will reply with a return authorisation and courier waybill (for SA customers).

Package the item securely in its original packaging and attach the waybill.

The courier will collect the parcel from your address or a selected pick-up point.

Once received, our team will inspect the item and process your refund, exchange, or store credit within 7–10 business days.
All returns must be couriered to our authorised return address (provided by our support team).
Walk-ins are not accepted unless arranged in advance.
3. Refunds

Refunds are made to the original payment method used during purchase.

Shipping fees are non-refundable, except in cases of product defects or incorrect deliveries.

Once processed, refunds may take up to 5–10 business days to reflect, depending on your bank.

Refunds are processed once returned items pass quality inspection. Processing may take up to 10 business days after approval.
For sale or promotional items, refunds are issued as store credit only.
4. Exchanges

Exchanges are processed once the returned item has been received and approved.

If your requested size or style is unavailable, we’ll issue store credit to your SEVNMAIN account.

We offer one free exchange per order within South Africa. Additional exchanges may incur a standard courier fee.
For international orders (future expansion), the customer will be responsible for all shipping costs related to returns or exchanges.
5. Defective or Incorrect Items
If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item:

Contact us within 7 days of delivery at support@sevnmain.co.za

Provide clear photos of the issue for verification.

Once confirmed, we’ll arrange a free replacement or refund (including courier collection).
Please note — the following do not qualify as defects:

Normal wear and tear;
-
Damage caused by negligence, incorrect washing, or improper use;

Fading of printed inner labels;
-
Discomfort due to sizing preferences;
-
Fabric variation due to different dye lots or lighting conditions.
SEVNMAIN reserves the right to assess and verify factory defects before approving a replacement.
6. Sale and Limited Edition Items

Sale items: Refunds are only issued as store credit or gift cards.
-
Limited edition drops: May not always be available for exchange due to low stock levels.
If the requested size is unavailable, store credit will be issued.
Store credit and gift cards are valid for 12 months and cannot be redeemed for cash.
7. Conditions for Returns & Exchanges
A return or exchange will only be processed if all conditions below are met:

Items that do not meet the above criteria will be declined and returned to the sender.
8. Manufacturing Faults
If a genuine factory fault is identified within 6 months of purchase, SEVNMAIN will:

Replace the item with the same or equivalent product; or

Offer a store credit or partial refund if the item is no longer available.
Factory faults include manufacturing defects such as stitching errors, broken seams, or faulty zippers.
They do not include wear and tear, misuse, or neglect.
9. General Terms

Returns and exchanges are subject to the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) and Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECTA).

SEVNMAIN reserves the right to amend this policy at any time without prior notice.

Refunds and exchanges will not be processed without prior communication or approval.

Online orders may not be returned to retail partners (if introduced).

This policy applies only to purchases made via www.sevnmain.co.za
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.
